Going on the Road Part 2

Hi everyone. Its the middle of August and I should be getting ready for the kids to go back to school but I'm not. No I am at this moment setting in my father-in-laws house in Billings Montana blogging. How I got here is a story that you might find interesting ,and you might even laugh.
I decided to go visit my father-in-law in you know where, and my wife asked me how I wanted to travel. I decided to go by bus. My wife asked me why and I said I wanted to have an adventure. At the time I did not know how much of an adventure I would truly have.
My adventure began with picking up my ticket from the bus depot two hours before departure. To get my ticket I needed to present my drivers license. After I received my tickets I put my license back in my wallet and headed for my next stop. At my next stop I looked in my wallet for my license and it was gone. I looked everywhere for it. I even went back to the bus depot. My I.D. was gone.

Going on the Road Part 1

It's almost time for the kids to go back to school. No more lounging around the pool. Yeah right! Starting next Tuesday I will be spending a month away. My journey will start on a bus headed for Montana. I will spend three weeks there, and then its off to Washington State to see the family. I hope to be able to post pics and write about my adventures. So please check back for more.

Nice to meet you

Hi I'm a husband, a father of five adopted children, and whats known as a "baby buster or generation x." The last three years of my life have been very interesting. Through a series of events I now find myself being the primary caregiver of four children, which brings me to the reason for this particular blog.

I wish to share with you my readers the funny stories, and exciting adventures that befall this baby buster. I will update this page from time to time with advice for dads on how to make Halloween costumes for your children when mom is away, or tips on how to keep the chemicals in your pool balanced. I also want to hear ideas and how to tips from other dads. So please feel free to comment.
